It has been a great, but different week this time around! For the second week in a row, I have not had to buy bananas at the grocery store, but as usual I was up early on Saturday for running coach things, if a bit different this time. This weekend will be totally different–Alex and I are off to a wedding, and then back for vacation and a trip to Michigan!

#PumpkinWeek2015 Wrap up… the Ultimate Healthy Pumpkin Recipe Menu
This week, the blog has gone a bit pumpkin crazy. Along with my fellow lovely cohosts, I believe that we have covered just about everything that you need for the healthy pumpkin recipe menu to end all menus–here are my contributions!
- Start your day with the Gluten free Pumpkin French Toast.
- Have a lunch of Gluten Free Vegan Chorizo Pumpkin Quesadillas.
- Here is the recipe for Vegan Chorizo!
- Happy hour with Gluten Free Vegan Wine Pumpkin Hummus.
- Dinner can be Creamy Gluten Free Vegan Pumpkin Zoodles.
A few other of my favorite pumpkin recipes to round out your day:
- Turkey Cranberry Pumpkin Enchiladas (what I make for Thanksgiving every year!)
- Pumpkin Banana Chip Protein Muffins (Gluten Free, Vegan)
I have loved the creativity of everyone’s recipes, from sweet to savory, meals for one to meals for many, boozy to teetotaler, healthy to indulgent. Even if you are a bit skeptical of your love for pumpkin, I invite you to try one of these recipes and see if you might find a new affinity for this seasonal nutrition and flavor powerhouse! From morning to night, the ultimate #healthy #pumpkin menu! #healthyrecipe #fitfluential #yum Click To Tweet

Blogger Meet Ups
As you all well know by now, I love meeting up with my virtual friends, and this week I got to have lunch with the wonderful disaster that is Gigi from Gigi Eats!
Erin and I made a quick nip inside Windy City Sweets, though, and I made off with a bulk bag of Jelly Belly (you know how I feel about them) and Erin picked up some amazing pumpkin spice fudge that was the dictionary definition of “melt in your mouth.”
My New Brick Betty Long Sleeve
Another favorite from that day is my new Brick Betty Long Sleeve top! I love the colors and blocking, the fabric, the THUMB HOLES…. Oh, yes, you will be seeing a lot more of this! Plus, it matches my BB Bra that I wore in the marathon.
As always, please let me know if you are curious or interested in Brick Betty products (see my post on the company here)! I am a BB Fit Professional, so my links are not affiliates, but I do make commission if you use me as a referral (so please do, so I can buy more Brick Betty!)
Having Dinner with Alex!!!!!!!!
Yes. That many exclamations! After 2 months of super intense critical care rotations, Alex finally returned to the land of outpatient medicine this week. I hardly know what to do with him, haha. We have been having dinner together, falling asleep on the couch at obnoxiously early times, and just generally being bums. I even made him my Creamy Pumpkin Sauce over Zoodles on Wednesday (I added Andouille Chicken Sausage to his) and got 2 thumbs WAY up. I also once again licked the bowl. Can’t stop. Won’t stop.
Your Support and Reactions to my Coaching Certification and Plans
I don’t think I was really telling you all anything you didn’t already know–that this summer and my coaching for CES has been transformative and impactful for me in a way that I didn’t quite anticipate. I thought that maybe this would be a cool thing for me to do; I didn’t realize that it would cement my feelings.
Throughout the summer, time and again, you all have made comments about how much passion and love I had for what I was doing, even being so kind as to tell me that my trainees were “lucky” to have me or that you wanted me to be your coach! I can’t tell you how much that support meant to me. Not in a coying, oh do go on! way, but in a you know what? I think I am discovering something as well way.
I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t love the compliments, but what I loved even more? The fact that I knew you weren’t bullsh**ing me. You all have been just as much a part of my transformation as I or my trainees have been. As I embark on this next phase of this transformation and growth, as I grow my business and work to define myself as a coach, I will be taking that with me.
So thank you–thank you for your support, your enthusiasm, and yes. OH DO GO ON.
