Happy Thanksgiving! Want to win some Oatmega Bars? Hold your horses!
Sorry, couldn’t resist. Brian wanted to say hi.
It is 6:30 AM as I write this, and already I have grated the cheese, made my corbread and jalapeno cheddar cornbread muffins, and the turkey breast (brined overnight and destined for enchiladas) is in the oven.
As you now know, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, so I will be investigating those reasons in great ugly-food detail with a side of my family before long. Whether or not you are American, I hope that you find the time today to think about what you are thankful for in your life. I am thankful for many things, one of them being you all—and so here is a giveaway to express my love.
As I mentioned, yesterday was the second blogiversary of Suzlyfe–and thank you all for your kind words–I have come to see this blog as a sort of gratitude journal, reminding me of the highs and the goodness of life and how those positives balance out and outweigh the lows. This blog has brought me so much over the years, from new friends to new foods, so I thought one way to express my thanks would be to introduce some of you to what might just be a new favorite bar!
Oatmega Bar Giveaway
For the last part of the Suzlyfe Blogiversary Month Giveaways, I am giving away a 12-bar box of your choice of flavor of Oatmega bars. You might remember that I instantly fell in love with Oatmega Bars a few months ago, even naming them one of my new favorite fit foods.
These bars are not only delicious, but they pack a SERIOUS nutrition punch:
- High protein (14 g)
- Low sugar (5 g)
- High fiber (7 g)
- 100% of your Omega 3’s (no fishy taste or smell!)
- 190 calories
- Healthy fats.
- Hormone- and soy-free whey protein from grass fed cows
- Organic ingredients where possible and Non-GMO
- Gluten free
I would liken the consistency to a date-based bar but with chunks of sweet goodness throughout. So the blueberry crisp has white chocolate chunks, oatsy chewiness, and real blueberry. The mint chocolate crisp literally tastes EXACTLY like a thin mint. The chocolate coconut and lemon chia are other major favorites.
Something else I like about this company? The folks at Oatmega give back to their community by donating bars to local food banks. The company’s mission and business model: “Heart first. Business second. Nutrition Shared.”
So I’m going to share with you!
I am giving away a 12-bar box of your choice of flavor of Oatmega bars. Unfortunately, this giveaway is for US only, but I’m planning another something for my international friends ASAP, because you all are just as deserving of my thanks!.@Suzlyfe is showing her thanks to her readers with an @oatmegabar #giveaway! #yum Click To Tweet
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some food prep, eating and carousing to do!
Tell me: What are you thankful for this Thursday? (Thanksgiving or not!)
