You all know that I love me a marathon. I love marathon training the most, but there really isn’t anything like marathon race day. The excitement, the nerves, the chafing, the refueling, the fight, the triumph. I just love it all. As a marathon lover and marathon coach, I have written quite a bit about running marathons, and so for this Running Coaches Corner, I am rounding up some of my favorite posts and favorite tidbits of advice from posts past!

My second marathon, and probably my favorite marathon as a race. A tough course, but OH so worth it!
My last marathon, and even though it was the one that resulted in my broken back, an incredible race that I wouldn’t trade!

My third marathon, and my first BQ! Not the most scenic course, but an excellent course to race hard.

Go beyond the typical A Goal, B Goal, etc
If you remember nothing else: Trust your training and body glide everywhere that has a seam.
During the Race
Think about these when your legs are BURNING
Do you use a pace team? Your GPS?
Or do you run by feel?
What NOT to do during your race!
After the Race
What do you do after your run your big race?
I really hope that no one needs this!
