This weekend can only be described as Late Fall Perfection. And then of course I had to get a migraine, because that is how things work, right?
I can’t go a step further without a HUGE Congratulations to everyone who raced this weekend: all of my friends who ran the Naperville Marathon and all of my friends who ran through the glorious streets of NYC, and especially to Nicole, who had a fantastic NYC Marathon and earned a shiny new PR!
Need help with following up those races? Check out Running Coaches Corner for all of my marathon and recovery posts!
I’m going to keep this post rather truncated, as I am still dealing with a migraine.
Basically, what you need to know about this weekend is that the weather was perfect, I ran a lot of miles, I walked the dog a lot and took her to the dog park multiple times, I ate all the food, and I dealt with a migraine on Sunday that rendered me useless in the morning and in and out for the rest of the day.

We are just going to do this “Scenes from My Run” Style

You also need to know that kimchi fries are indeed a thing and they are glorious.
I’m going to go lay down, but it was a great weekend other than feeling like I needed to take an ice pick to my head for the majority of Sunday. So proud of my friends for their running, and I’m already ready for this week’s main event (the election) to be over with.
On the plus side, I have Remicade today. I am feeling great Crohn’s wise, and I think we are taking me to a longer interval due to scheduling this next time, so I am excited about that! Unfortunately, we had to move out my IVF consult appointment because it turns out my doctor will be out of town for two weeks, but they are putting together my protocol, so we are at least moving in the right direction.
Here’s a (HOPEFULLY) great week and NO MORE MIGRAINES.Check out these gorgeous pictures of Chicago on Suz's morning run! #run #runchat Click To Tweet
